I wanted to let you know what a pleasure it is working with the consultant in our St. Timothy’s Anglican Church ‘Faith Shaping our Future’ capital campaign. He brings a level of professionalism and experience that is instrumental to our campaign success and he represents your firm well!
Last night the consultant and I visited my first family. During the visit, the husband, who is a banker, was concerned about fraud and ethics issues associated with church fund raising he has witnessed during the course of his professional career. It was very comforting to me as campaign chairman, and the family to know of the consultant’s experience as well as your firm’s reputation. If for no other reason other than the reason the banker stated last night, the leadership of St. Timothy’s made a great decision by engaging J.D. Klote & Associates for our campaign.
The consultant is very easy to work with, and as most of the campaign steering committee is new to this process, his easy-going personality and soft but direct communication style makes the task of learning a new process and taking on substantially more activity in our already busy weeks a joy! He is organized, punctual and professional. He is the perfect role model for all of us. Thank you for what you and your firm do. If you have plans to visit Houston in the future, please let me know.

Carmel Lutheran Church kicked off its ‘Hearts Compelled To Share’ capital campaign in record style. As of January 25th just 73 families of the more than 900 in the church had already committed $3.75 million dollars. That total represents not only the best kickoff to a campaign at CLC, it also represents the best campaign in total even though only 8% of the congregation has pledged so far.
The previous best campaign was just four years ago when CLC collected a total of about $3 million in pledges from over 425 donors.
