I can wholeheartedly recommend the services and expertise of J. D. Klote and Associates. For many years the parish leaders at St. John Episcopal Church in York, Pennsylvania discussed how we might live into our vision of being a welcoming parish. We are blessed with a beautiful campus of buildings that have been maintained but not kept current with available resources for accessibility and comfort. Aware of the limitations of the campus, the parish leaders determined the time was now to step boldly into the future by providing a more welcoming, secure and accessible campus.

Knowing we could not raise the funds needed for such a project without professional guidance, we chose to engage the services of J. D. Klote and Associates. From the time the consultant arrived in the parish, the parish leaders were aware that we had made a wise decision. Having a full time consultant on site proved to be invaluable. The expertise of the consultant to assist us with focus groups, the feasibility study, training parishioners to conduct personal visits, tracking weekly progress and general encouragement enabled us to fulfill our hopes for this capital campaign. The fact that the consultant worked with the parish staff and leaders on a daily basis as well as his involvement in Sunday worship allowed a trusting relationship to develop. It is my belief that development of this relationship was important to the success we achieved. I appreciated the daily contact with the consultant that allowed us to keep the campaign moving forward toward a positive completion.
