At the beginning of this year, St. Paul’s Parish launched a capital campaign for the upgrading and completion of our buildings. We did this with the help of James D. Klote & Associates. One challenge of the campaign was how to approach the parish on the heels of a recent campaign and the delicacies involved in a new approach to parishioners who already give sacrificially.
We were certain that we needed the on-site and intensive presence of a consultant. James D. Klote & Associates offers such and that partly guided our choice. I also had the experience of working with one of their consultants in my former parish. The fact that he might be available to assist us at St. Paul’s seemed providential, and indeed it was.
We simply could not have done this on our own. The campaign director provided exactly the consultation, drive, and energy we needed. His effective training of our volunteers coupled with his involvement in and identification with the ongoing life of the parish, all served to provide the impetus, which was necessary for success.
Without exception, our leadership would recommend your firm, your philosophy, and your work to anyone. It would be difficult to imagine any better in the business.
You have my wholehearted and grateful endorsement and recommendation. If I can serve as a reference to anyone else who may consider your services, please do not hesitate to give them my name.

Carmel Lutheran Church kicked off its ‘Hearts Compelled To Share’ capital campaign in record style. As of January 25th just 73 families of the more than 900 in the church had already committed $3.75 million dollars. That total represents not only the best kickoff to a campaign at CLC, it also represents the best campaign in total even though only 8% of the congregation has pledged so far.
The previous best campaign was just four years ago when CLC collected a total of about $3 million in pledges from over 425 donors.
