We have passed our goal of $4,750,000 and now have a pledge base of over $5,000,000! When we began thinking about this project many in our number felt we would be fortunate to raise $2,000,000. We knew however that double that amount would fail to meet our need for a facility to accommodate our current vision and growth. Our Director from JDK&A arrived with a gracious gift for calling forth the skills and gifts of Christ Church’s leadership as we articulated God’s emerging vision and our need. He walked us through the process of inviting the parish family to help us give shape to the vision during our time of listening in focus group meetings. The clear, but kind direction he exerted during the pledge drive enabled us to achieve what we once thought was an impossible goal. JDK&A understands churches, the process of arriving at a common vision and was engaged in making this campaign a success. We have been drawn closer as a parish family through this whole process.
