I believe we definitely made the right choice working with your company.  The consultant has done a fantastic job laying the groundwork for our campaign.  Our readiness assessment showed that it was critical to enter into fundraising for our future.  I believe in the approach of JD Klote and Associates as I love the personal touch, the challenging ask for each member of the congregation, and love the full-time support we get from the consultant.  It would have been too much to take on for our current team.

 

The consultant specifically has been a real asset to our team.  Not only in leading our church through this process, specifically with the steering team and the staff, but he’s also been an asset to me as the lead pastor.  Having someone on staff but also still a third-party I have relied on him several times for guidance and his wisdom has helped our team navigate a few tricky items over the past few months.

 

As for the results, we have been a little slow in kicking off.  It does work a little bit like a domino effect and so I’m hoping that once we kickoff at the end of the month that the next month after that we will see a lot of visits and pledges come in.  While we have several folks who have been extremely generous and obedient to God’s direction, I think we are still waiting on that one or two really big pleasant surprises that would allow us to see results that your firm consistently sees elsewhere.  Last year was a pivotal year for us and we lost a lot of our constituency and so going into the campaign I think we were counting on some big numbers from some people that actually don’t even attend our church anymore.  I’m truthfully not sure where we will land but I believe the approach we are taking and working through your system we will see the best overall results.  We will continue to do the work but is in God’s hands.
