Just a note to express my thanks to you and your firm for providing such a wonderful man to help us realize success for our church, at a much higher level than we ever thought possible. From my positon as a member of the selection committee that approved hiring J.D. Klote, and a member of the campaign steering committee, I am pleased to provide this testimonial of the consultant’s tireless efforts and focused dedication to making St. Thomas’ campaign a success. His broad knowledge of what works and his masterful sequencing of campaign benchmarks coupled with humor and subtle nudges, made this campaign truly a labor of love. Needless to say, we couldn’t have achieved the results that we have without the Klote process. I must say that I enjoyed your book on Stewardship and see many of the successful strategies employed by your consultant.
Again, please accept my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for all of the blessings that you and the consultant have brought to our parish and our members.
Sincerely,
St. Thomas' Episcopal Church

Carmel Lutheran Church kicked off its ‘Hearts Compelled To Share’ capital campaign in record style. As of January 25th just 73 families of the more than 900 in the church had already committed $3.75 million dollars. That total represents not only the best kickoff to a campaign at CLC, it also represents the best campaign in total even though only 8% of the congregation has pledged so far.
The previous best campaign was just four years ago when CLC collected a total of about $3 million in pledges from over 425 donors.
