We and our church community have been blessed by our consultant in our Forward in Faith Capital Campaign at Light of Christ Church in Algonquin, Illinois. He has shown professionalism, extreme care for the church at large and his ability to communicate with people. The consultant understands the importance of growing the church by raising money to reach more people for the kingdom. Our church has decided that the best way to do this is to build and expand into another church building. He has taught the teams how to do this during informational seminars and training. We have been part of the visiting teams and have been blessed doing our visits. It’s up to the Holy Spirit to convict the people to hear and listen to God’s call on their commitment. We are praying that we raise more money than we need! Our church needs to be doing new ministries for young families before we grow the church so we attract them and not wait for the new building. Stepping out in faith is what is needed by all including the church staff.
We have come to know the consultant on a professional, personal and spiritual level. He has been part of our men’s group and accepted our family dinner invitations. He is filled with spiritual wisdom and care that exceeded our expectations as the capital campaign consultant. My wife explained to others that when he came to dinner the first time, it was like having dinner with Jesus. His spiritual insight and relationship with Christ and others was refreshing. He seemed to minister to people wherever he went. We invited our married children and grandchildren to dinner with the consultant and he ministered to them and blessed them over this time. We would go to lunch and he’d minister to strangers. He even ministered to the men at the hotel where he was staying. He truly has been a gift to our church but we feel that he is a gift to our family and anyone that he meets. He is truly an asset to your organization and God is using him not only to help raise money to grow our church but also ministers and blesses the church family wherever he goes.
Thanks for sending him to Light of Christ Church in Algonquin, Illinois.

Carmel Lutheran Church kicked off its ‘Hearts Compelled To Share’ capital campaign in record style. As of January 25th just 73 families of the more than 900 in the church had already committed $3.75 million dollars. That total represents not only the best kickoff to a campaign at CLC, it also represents the best campaign in total even though only 8% of the congregation has pledged so far.
The previous best campaign was just four years ago when CLC collected a total of about $3 million in pledges from over 425 donors.
