After interviewing several companies to assist us in our capital campaign, we chose to go with James D. Klote for three reasons.

 

• First, we believed the philosophy of reaching out to every member would promote a sense of church-wide ownership of the building project.
• Second, J.D. Klote demonstrated integrity in their initial presentations to our church leadership, being straightforward about all of the costs for their services. (As we looked into it we discovered that some of the competitors who, at first appeared to be less expensive, were not presenting all of their costs up front, and would have wound up costing as much or more.)
• Third, as we were doing something for which no one in our church family could claim to have the specific expertise we required, we also were attracted to the idea that we would have a director assigned to us who would live with us, worship with us, and walk with us through the entire process.

 

Our Campaign Director arrived exactly when he said he would and has integrated seamlessly into the life of our church, working with both clergy, staff, and lay leaders to develop and implement our campaign.  It is inconceivable that we would have been able to move as efficiently or professionally without his expertise.

 

From my perspective as Senior Pastor, I can say that our director has been very prayerful and responsive to the character and traditions of our own church family.  He is a godly man who loves the people of God.  He is not trying to make us fit into a mold but is implementing J. D. Klote principals within our context.  And the results are quite impressive!

 

I would not hesitate to choose J. D. Klote and Associates in the future.  And I would be delighted to work again with our director.
