Our JDK&A Consultant took the time to learn about our congregation’s culture, our norms, our theology, and our history.  We were surprised how quickly he fit in with us at UUCA.  He was genuinely interested in developing relationships with us and joined us in mutual inspiration for each other’s gifts and talents.  He established a clear timeline and built the groundwork for how our campaign would proceed.  He was exceptionally communicative, easygoing yet persistent, and maintained urgency while keeping us focused on our core values and the wider perspective.  His expertise and vision for our campaign’s structure and timing gave our layleaders the confidence to do the work they did best: leveraging their relationships and passion.  Throughout our campaign, he gave everyone the tools they needed to do their best work.  We have worked with other consultants in the past, but we have never felt so understood as we did with the Klote Consultant.  He gets us.  He was always available and helpful and gave us the structure and confidence we needed to launch and lead a wildly successful campaign- even in the midst of a global pandemic!  He was supportive and innovative, helping us consider how to work around the constraints of quarantine and social distancing.  We are thrilled to have worked with him, and we will all miss him very much.  He has quickly become a beloved part of UUCA, and we’ll be sorry when he moves on to other projects.  As senior minister, I could not have asked for better strategic and logistical support than what I found in our Klote Consultant’s presence.  He has been a joy to work with, and our congregation and our leaders are stronger for having known him and learned from him.  We are grateful to Klote for matching us with the right consultant for our campaign.
