As our campaign nears the halfway mark, I wanted to share some thoughts with you. When the idea of a Capital Campaign was first presented to our leadership board, everyone was in agreement that it was the right course of action for our church. The big question was how to best accomplish it.
We began by contacting other churches that Pastor Tom knew had recently completed a campaign. The one common denominator that resulted from those discussions was that to have properly run campaign, a consultant was needed.
That began a search and vetting process that led us to you organization.
Following our initial teleconference call and subsequent in person meeting with you, we determined that your philosophy, while new to us, would allow us to treat all our members equally. Our next concern was who would be on sight to oversee the day to day activities. You assured us that you would have the right director for us. You certainly delivered on that,
Since the day that he arrived, the director has been a vital part of our church. From leading us through the assessment process to training and marketing, he has been there to guide us. His presence here goes beyond the campaign activities.
I have watched him assist with our recent Flea Market, get soaking wet helping to get children to their parents’ vehicles during a storm as VBS let out and staffing our booth at the Cranberry Days Festival.
His love of our Lord is evident in all he does. He has made himself available for all of our needs and continues to be a source of encouragement to us. He has gone above and beyond to help move our campaign to a successful conclusion. We could not have had a better Campaign Director.
