It has been my pleasure to work these past few weeks with the consultant on our Capital Campaign. He is very accessible and easy to talk to and get to know. His past years of experience have helped guide us as we encountered problems, discussed the meaning of church visits, and wondered about our church response to a Capital Campaign.
He even has a sense of humor which is a wonderful asset during this process. He has offered to bring materials to me in restaurants and to my home or wherever the most convenient place seemed to be at that time.
He was always glad to listen to me when I encountered church members that took our visit as an opportunity to communicate a negative message or an unusual message, and his advice was a piece of wisdom that helped me keep the faith and continue to move forward.
We will miss him and wish he was moving to Lufkin and not Austin. His people skills are excellent along with his talent for administration and organization.
