Trinity Church Kicks off Campaign with Nearly $2 million Already Raised!

Bakersfield, CA – On August 1, 2022 the Board of Trinity Anglican Church voted unanimously to proceed with a capital campaign led by James D. Klote & Associates with a goal of raising $5M for the construction of a new sanctuary. After forming and training the Steering Committee, the members of the committee begin to visit approximately 13% of the congregants to solicit advanced gifts.

On Sept. 18^th Trinity held their Kick-off Event, after the second worship service.  Immediately after the service volunteers rearranged the Fellowship Hall (serving as the current worship space) to accommodate a catered sit-down luncheon furnished by the church and a bounce house was rented for the kid’s enjoyment.. 120 RSVP’s were received with over 120 attending the Kick-off Event.

A thunderous sound of cheers and applause arose as Father Karl Dietze announced that the church has received $1,967,700.00 from 21 pledges, which represents 4 times annual giving.

Trained visitors have selected households from the 178 families who make Trinity Anglican Church their home.  They will visit these households over the next few weeks. The goal is to complete the majority of the visits and receive their pledges before the Thanksgiving holidays.
