Cleveland Heights, Ohio – Through a focused effort, St. Paul’s was able to raise over $5 million for the needed repairs and improvements. The church, began major upgrades to their mechanical and electrical systems, bringing 1920’s boilers and 1950’s electrical systems into the 21’st Century. Although most of the work is out of sight to parishioners, the vital repairs to the infrastructure will ensure new efficiencies for decades. In addition, a new elevator lift providing handicap accessibility from the Old Narthex into Tucker Hall is anticipated to be in place by the parish’s fall kick-off “Sunday in September”. Further improvements to the church property and acquisition of additional administrative office space are planned for 2011. Prior to beginning the renovation, St. Paul’s conducted a Readiness Assessment Study and successful Capital Campaign, directed by an on-site Campaign Director with James D. Klote & Associates.
