Virginia Beach, VA – After a thorough Readiness Assessment conducted by James D. Klote & Associates, Inc. (JDK&A), the Vestry of Old Donation Episcopal Church of Virginia Beach, Virginia votes to proceed with a Capital Campaign.
“It is with great anticipation and high expectations that we communicate with you the good news that your Vestry voted unanimously in favor of moving forward with a Capital Campaign. To be more effective with our mission and ministry we must address the pressing space and maintenance needs that constrain and limit our ability to do God’s work. And we are ready to do our part,” stated a communication from George Butler, the Senior Warden; Sharon Payne, the People’s Warden; and The Rev. Bob Randall, Rector.
All parish members were invited to attend Readiness Assessment Meetings during the past 4 weeks, with an overwhelming majority in support of the proposed plans for new construction and renovation.
The campaign will be directed by JDK&A, a full-time, on-site capital stewardship consulting firm based in Falls Church, Virginia, recently ranked the #1 church consulting firm in the United States by Volkart, a market research firm in Minnesota.
“We are delighted to once again have an opportunity to work with Old Donation Episcopal Church. Our previous partnership was in 1989 when we directed a successful campaign to raise funds to build Tucker Hall,” stated Jim Klote, President & CEO of JDK&A.
With offices in Falls Church, Virginia; Chicago, Illinois; Los Angeles, California; and Toronto, Ontario, JDK&A is the largest full-time, on-site stewardship consulting firm in North America. For additional information, please contact the firm at www.jdklote.com or (800) 360-2315.
