Oakton, VA – The Board of Directors of UUCF voted on September 23 to continue its partnership with James D. Klote & Associates. Over the next few months, this capital campaign will commence with a goal of $3.6M. The campaign will include upgrades to campus facilities, overall financial stability, and an increased emphasis on social justice, which will create a warm and welcoming community.
Propelled from a lengthy strategic undertaking called “Living the Mission,” church leaders have worked tirelessly, bonding together to visualize the future that would best serve its members while also expanding outreach to the local community.
“After a long discernment process, UUCF chose to go forward with a capital campaign supported by James D. Klote & Associates, Inc. We are looking towards the future, growing, connecting and serving our community in the decades to come.” said Dillon Ginley, President of the Board of Directors.
“This exciting undertaking represents a pivotal moment for UUCF. Throughout its history, these congregants have shown courage and commitment. They are willing to invest in what matters,” said Eric Welch, Capital Campaign Director. “During a 6-week Readiness Assessment process consisting of 21 focus groups, the congregation has spoken with conviction, choosing to strengthen this community and expand possibilities.”
UUCF will work closely with the church family, the community, and James D. Klote & Associates to undertake this strategic campaign and bring their vision to fruition.
