All Saints Episcopal Church Celebrates Successful Kick-off

Richmond, VA – All Saints Episcopal Church proudly announced the successful kickoff of its Annual and Capital Campaigns on Sunday, September 28, 2025. The celebration brought together parishioners for a combined church service featuring a powerful and inspirational sermon by June Lehman, Stewardship Chair, and Amy Burgoyne, Campaign Chair. Uplifting worship music and a beautiful luncheon followed, filling the day with energy and excitement.

“We are excited to launch our Annual Campaign in conjunction with our Capital Campaign. This is an exciting time for All Saints Episcopal Church as we look forward to doing all we can to equip our community for the future.” said June Lehman, Annual Stewardship Chair.

With much anticipation, All Saints launched its “Standing on the Shoulders of Saints” Annual & Capital Campaigns with over $2 million in pledges and gifts, which includes a generous $1 million contribution from the ASE Endowment.

“These pledges and gifts mark a significant milestone in the church’s effort to meet its long-term capital campaign objectives and the 2026 Annual budget, giving church leadership the freedom to dream and to do God’s work in the community and around the world,” said Amy Burgoyne, Capital Campaign Chair.

Founded in 1883 as a mission of Monumental Church, All Saints Episcopal Church officially began its ministry in July of 1888 and held its first service Christmas day 1888. The congregation’s growth led to the construction of a new building, completed in 1901, which served as a testament to their commitment to faith and community. As the parish grew, so did the need to move west. In response to westward suburban growth, the church took a leap of faith and moved to River Road, next to Roslyn, a retreat center for our Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. Today, All Saints continues to honor its rich history while embracing a future of service and spiritual growth.
