In the short time I have known the consultant in his capacity for the Capital Building Campaign at The Church of the Redeemer in Sarasota, Florida, I have been impressed by his ability to connect with individuals both supportive of the campaign as well as with those less enthusiastic or even antagonistic.

 

He is first and foremost a good listener—willing to listen patiently to concerns and objections and then to address them in a positive, reassuring manner which allays fears and culminates in a revised impression of the project or issue under discussion and even, on occasion, a renewed interest in the campaign.

 

Non aggressive, yet knowledgeable and informative, the consultant creates a comfortable, non-threatening environment which encourages a positive response.
