My embracing of Centreville United Methodist Church’s Capital Campaign has actually surprised me. Having our consultant and a fellow church member speak with me about the scope and purpose of the campaign opened my eyes to the role I can play in the success of our church.  Once I decided what kind of commitment I wanted to make – a sacrificial gift that allows me to feel truly joyful about my support of our church’s mission – my enthusiasm for the campaign grew.  Talking to others about the campaign on home visits has become easy, as I want everyone to have the opportunity to experience the same joy and sense of purpose in giving to God in this way.
