Timberlake Church in Virginia Unanimously Approves to Conduct Capital Campaign

Lynchburg, VA – The Church Council, Pastor, and Executive Pastor of Timberlake Church met on February 18th to consider undertaking a capital campaign.  After going over the Readiness Assessment the Council approved unanimously to move forward to conduct the Capital Campaign.

Following 18 Focus Group Meetings with 490 people in attendance the members expressed overwhelmingly to support a $15 million project to build new spaces and renovate existing spaces.  The congregation of Timberlake not only stated their financial support, but also their volunteer support, as well as all 490 people said they will pray for this campaign.

Lead Pastor, Brad McMullen said of the study and vote, “Timberlake Church has done huge things, but we really needed to do a study of both our ability to raise funds and the members and friends of Timberlake Churches commitment to conducting a capital campaign.  Klote & Associates did an outstanding job presenting the church’s needs through a series of focus group meetings.  With the congregation’s amazing support to move forward with a campaign expresses the confidence members have in the Klote firm.”
