When I first met the consultant he was ok, I had the attitude that he was just a salesman. Oh boy, was I wrong. He jumped on board with everything, getting involved with Bible Studies, coming to many and most church services. He can remember names like nothing. He became one of the staff, he is one of us. Our staff is an unusual team; we all love each other and certainly disagree with one another, but are always there to comfort each other and the consultant is right there with us.
The parishioners love him. They all know where his office is and are very comfortable talking with him. I know he socializes with many. When he is in church he greets everyone and has a story to tell to everybody. He is always in the office even on the weekends, always willing to help out with anything. If a chair needs to be moved he will move it, if coffee needs to be made he will make it or trash to be taken out he will also do that. The consultant is truly a team player. He is always positive and dresses very professionally. If we have outside events with the staff he is right there with us for birthdays, retirement parties whatever the occasion; you can count on him being right there with us.
He certainly loves the Lord Jesus Christ. It has been a blessing to have your consultant with us and he will certainly be missed when the campaign is all over.

Carmel Lutheran Church kicked off its ‘Hearts Compelled To Share’ capital campaign in record style. As of January 25th just 73 families of the more than 900 in the church had already committed $3.75 million dollars. That total represents not only the best kickoff to a campaign at CLC, it also represents the best campaign in total even though only 8% of the congregation has pledged so far.
The previous best campaign was just four years ago when CLC collected a total of about $3 million in pledges from over 425 donors.
