We chose J.D. Klote and Associates because they offered by far the most intensive capital campaign. The best part of the process for us was the feasibility study, where we were able to build consensus and enthusiasm for the campaign that followed. The campaign itself was a lot of work, but there is no substitute for the face-to-face relationships that happen through the visits.
We are blessed to have passed the $6 million mark toward our goals, in addition to the ongoing sanctuary expansion, which is also funded and starting to take (literal) shape. As we look back to the beginning of this process, before we ever gave Klote a call for the first time, we wondered if our congregation was capable of pledging $2-3 million toward a building campaign, which was what we thought we needed at the time. I hope there is satisfaction on your part that our congregation has stepped up to the tune of $3 million to date to go with the gift that prompted us calling in the first place.
