Our JDK&A Director is doing an outstanding job of ushering through the entire planning process toward a capital campaign to build our new Browse’N Buy Building. B’N Buy is an institution in this valley and it serves this community very well. It makes a lot of money, half of which goes back into the community.

I was the architect for the original B’N Buy building and I am designing the new structure. I said to our priest, Jimmy Bartz and several of our Vestry Members, do we really need an outside consultant to raise the necessary funds to build the new building? Long story short, without our JDK&A Director, we would probably have bypassed the opportunity to tell the “whole” story about St. Johns’ history. It is a full and interesting history. It goes back over 100 years, and that is a long time for Jackson! He has also provided us with the necessary documentation to help guide our parishioners through the focus groups and to fill out a provided questionnaire at each conclusion.

At the conclusion of the Focus Groups, I will sit down Jimmy, our Director, and others, and go over the percipients concerns. That is an important, and thorough step that would have been short cutted, without our Klote Director’s input.

He has a very pleasant manner, and personality, that is easy to accept and deal with. He brings a load of experience with him that will have a positive impact on our building and the ability to raise the necessary funds.

We have over 230 non-profits in Jackson Hole that have their hands out annually for funds to fulfill their missions. So, there is incredible competition for donations. With our JDK&A Director’s assistance, I feel we will make our goals. We are laying the groundwork, that could have been shortened,or skipped, for a successful campaign.
