St. Martin’s-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church Voted Unanimously to Move Forward!

Columbia, SC – James D. Klote & Associates is pleased to announce that the Vestry of St. Martin’s-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church unanimously voted to move forward with a Capital Campaign to address the needs of their church.

Reverend Mitch Smith, Rector said, “St. Martin’s is a welcoming congregation, and this will assure our community that all are welcome and not restricted by physical barriers.”

St. Martin’s has served the community since the early 1950s and looks to expand its presence in the community by sharing the love of Christ.  The six-week Readiness Assessment included 16 Focus Group Meetings that were designed for St. Martin’s members and regular attendees to participate in shaping the next chapter in the life of the church.  The goal of St. Martin’s is to eliminate their debt ASAP, reduce any physical barriers to entry and at the same time grow spiritually as a church to impact the community through missions and ministry.

The leadership of St. Martin’s has asked James D. Klote & Associates (JDK&A) to assist and guide their efforts.  JDK&A is an onsite, full-time Christian fundraising firm.  This means St. Martin’s will have the personal attention to help them meet the needs of the church.
