Marion, IA – St. Mark’s Lutheran Church has just completed the Advance Phase of their Capital Campaign ‘EveryOne’ to make needed renovations to the children’s ministry area, improve audio in worship areas, improve signage and reduce mortgage indebtedness. There were more than two-hundred-fifty in attendance at the Kick-Off Event to hear a brief summary of the appeal and the exciting results of $2.2 M raised from 52 families.
Senior Pastor Perry Fruhling stated, “My visits have been very enjoyable and informative and I am very pleased with the responses from the visits.” Their goal of $4.66 is very achievable as they complete the visits with the remaining families.
Campaign Chair Aaron Loan said, “I am really excited about the results so far. I am very optimistic as we move forward and encourage everyone to participate in this very important endeavor at St. Mark’s.”
