New Canaan, Connecticut – Celebrating 250 years of witness in New Canaan, CT., historic St. Mark’s Episcopal Church announced raising over $5 million in pledges with more than $2.5 million already received towards its “Empower the Parish” Capital Campaign successfully moving the parish into its next 250 years of ministry. “This Capital Campaign will definitely make a categorical change in the life of St. Mark’s,” commented Skip Schlafer, Senior Consultant for James D. Klote & Associates. The Rev. Peter F. Walsh, St. Mark’s Rector, envisioned a Center for Ministry building addition to the church, which the parish wholeheartedly embraced.
