Spring, TX – Almost one hundred and seventy members and friends of St. Timothy’s Anglican Church of Spring, TX gathered in Strackfest at Strack Farms on Saturday, September 7, 2013, to Kick-Off their largest-ever major Capital Stewardship Campaign. This seven-year old church and congregation has grown dramatically in the past few years, far beyond what their predecessors had anticipated.
Today they begin Moving Dirt to provide for a much more inviting entrance to this very friendly church. “It’s happening,” says Patrick Howard, Vestry Member at St. Tims.
Members are celebrating all that God has done and is doing in the life of their church. The event in 2013 was a huge success and marked an important event in the life of the congregation. Following the event, each of the remaining individuals and families within the church were contacted for a personal visit. The church is hoping as a result of the campaign to be able to retire the debt, much needed renovation including entrance way enhancements, increase their missions and outreach, large youth space, and additional adult classrooms.
An inspirational amount has already been pledged. Leadership of the church announced pledges of more than $2.2M – a record amount for this congregation.
