Siloam Springs, AR – Grace Episcopal Church, located in the heart of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, kicked off its “Growing in Grace” Capital Stewardship Campaign with a pot-luck luncheon celebration filled with food, speakers, and warm fellowship.
Father Stan McKinnon and Campaign Chair Mike Moss shared Grace Church’s vision for the future to over 100 members and regular attendees. Advance Gift Chairperson, Shelley Simmons, also spoke at the event noting that “Campaign pledging is very strong, to date having raised over $2 million from about 20 advance gift donors. But it will still take equal sacrifice from all members to reach and surpass our goal of $2.5 million.” The campaign is being fast tracked and is to run for an additional two weeks, hoping to contact and visit each of the over 100 Grace Church families.
Equally enthusiastic for the progress of the campaign to date was Father Stan McKinnon, whose only concern being the possibility of running out of time before the Christmas Holidays, has seen what the committed church leadership can accomplish. James D. Klote and Associates Consultant, John Morrison added, “This event was filled with joy, love and a hope for a bright future at Grace Church. It is truly an honor to be working with so many wonderful people. I am confident the best is yet to come.”
