I am the Co-Chair of the Legacy Campaign at Spring Branch Community Church in Virginia Beach. I wanted to write and tell you how appreciative I am for your company and especially for the consultant you assigned to our church. From the first time I met him, I knew he was the perfect match for us. His warm, outgoing personality draws people in makes them feel so comfortable. He made many friends during his time at Spring Branch.
The consultant inspired people. He got people excited about being on the Legacy steering team and excited to participate in the Legacy Campaign. His coaching was always organized and motivating. He was a great cheerleader for our team, and for me in particular!
I love the way your company structures Capital Campaigns. It is so organized and laid out in such an easy way to follow. The campaign visits have been so successful, not only in raising money, but in strengthening relationships within the church.
The poor consultant did not know what he was getting into when he walked into Spring Branch. We have so many challenges within our church family, many of which were unearthed during the focus groups and the campaign visits. But he always stayed so positive and encouraging. He was always solution-oriented and had a real desire to help make Spring Branch great again.
Unfortunately, the underlying issues that Spring Branch is dealing with have really been a hindrance to the Legacy Campaign. However, we stay positive and press on toward the goal. The consultant helped build our steering team strong and we are continuing the work of visiting every family in the church and inviting people to participate in Legacy. We may not raise as much money as we had hoped, but of even greater importance, there are hurts being healed, relationships being built and ministries being strengthened. Leaders are rising up. Change is in the air. And for that, we are so grateful to your company and to your consultant.
We remain in your debt.
