Just a note to say how lucky we are to have your consultant working with us. We have many gifted, dedicated members, yet they could never have done the kind of foundational planning that you and the consultant have accomplished. That planning is evident every day. I love that he gives us only the work that we need to accomplish this week. It takes the anxiety out of it for me. That’s important since I’ve been incredibly busy at work lately and want my time to be as effective as possible. Some others are still in the anxious mode, but I see that gradually dissipating as the consultant’s persistent optimism continues to filter through the leadership.
Our rector is another truly gifted person. However, his energy and passion can overwhelm some folks. Over the last year I had been nudging Craig to consider a routine of visiting a couple of parishioners each week. Once people get to know him in a pastoral context, they can grow to respect him more readily. Your process has brought that about, granted in a more concentrated way, and now it is the very best thing happening about the entire effort. It is resulting in healing for all involved.
Thank you for your guidance and for hiring/keeping someone as good as the consultant. We so very much appreciate him!
